Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has rejected reports suggesting changes to its logo and aircraft design. A spokesperson for the airline confirmed there are no current plans to alter PIA’s branding or aircraft aesthetics.

The spokesperson clarified that the airline’s iconic logo and tail flag remain intact, and any decisions regarding such modifications would require formal approval from the board and relevant ministries. This statement counters recent rumors about changes in PIA’s branding or aircraft design.

In a separate development, Air Vice Marshal Amir Hayat has been reinstated as PIA’s acting CEO. The decision, made upon the recommendation of the PIA Board of Directors, was formalized through a government notification. Hayat will serve as acting CEO until a permanent appointment is finalized.

He replaces Khurram Mushtaq, who briefly served in the role. The airline’s management expressed confidence in Hayat’s leadership and his ability to steer PIA effectively during this transitional period.

The clarification regarding PIA’s branding and the reappointment of Hayat are part of the airline’s broader efforts to address public concerns and maintain transparency.

PIA urges passengers and stakeholders to rely only on official statements from the airline to avoid misinformation.
