Saudi Arabia Gifts 100 Tons of Dates to Pakistan as a Symbol of Solidarity

On Thursday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented 100 tons of dates to Pakistan, reflecting the goodwill and enduring bond between the two nations.

The consignment was officially handed over during a ceremony at the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad. Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki and Abdullah Al-Baqami, Director of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief), presented the gift to Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub, Director General of the Military Wing.

This annual gesture, guided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, highlights Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting the people of Pakistan. The act further cements the relationship between the two countries, rooted in shared values of generosity and mutual support.

On the occasion, Brigadier Alamgeer Ayub expressed deep appreciation to the leadership of Saudi AraSaudi Arabia’s leadershipent support and noble outreach. “This act of solidarity strengthens our bilateral ties and showcases the profound friendship our nations share,” Brigadier Ayub remarked.

The annual donation of dates exemplifies Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to enhance its humanitarian initiatives and deepen its relationship with Pakistan.
