The prices of vegetables in Faisalabad have dropped by up to 50% over the past month, bringing relief to residents.

According to reports, potatoes and onions, which were previously sold at Rs120 per kg, are now available for Rs60 per kg. Similarly, carrots are being sold at Rs30 per kg, while cauliflower is priced at Rs40 per kg.

This sharp decline in prices is seen as a positive development, especially with Ramadan approaching. Many residents have welcomed the price drop, as vegetables are a staple in daily meals.

However, people are now urging the government to reduce the prices of other essential commodities, including ghee and sugar, to further ease the financial burden on households.
