With an Artificial Intelligence Model COVID-19 can be detected in seconds

Now, COVID-19 can be detected within seconds with the latest Artificial Intelligence model that will examine the CT scan reports of patients’ lungs without any testing.

As coronavirus testing has been identified as critical by governments and health authorities across the world, new technologies are letting the health professionals identify the virus in minimum time.

As per the reports, out of 3,777 patients in China, an AI was used for 532,000 CT scans to look for Coronavirus traits in the lungs. Using this AI model, hospitals in China have been able to diagnose coronavirus patients 85 percent of the time correctly.

This AI will also allow health authorities to implement contact tracing with a higher possibility of accuracy, limiting the spread of the virus; it will also help governments to know when to ease the lockdown measures.

With this new development, health professionals will tailor treatment to the virus by know accurately about coronavirus pneumonia.
