Texas Governor Greg Abbott tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday, although he is in good health and does not have any symptoms, according to his office.

According to a spokesman Mark Miner, Mr. Abbott, who was vaccinated in December and has refused to have mask regulations as the extremely infectious delta variant spreads across Texas, was isolated in the governor’s residence in Austin, getting monoclonal antibody treatment.

According to a report by The Associated Press, he is at least the 11th governor to test positive for the coronavirus since the outbreak began.

“Governor Abbott is fully vaccinated against COVID-19, in good health, and currently experiencing no symptoms. Everyone that the Governor has been in close contact with today has been notified,” Mr. Miner said.
