Supreme court declares fee hike by private schools after 2017 as illegal

Supreme court of Pakistan has declared all the fee hike by private school after year 2017 as illegal.

According to details, a detailed decision has been issued regarding the illegal increase of school fee by private schools.

Supreme court stated in its decision that schools increased the fee after 2017 unlawfully.

20 percent decrease in the fee will not be recovered by the parents, private schools must set their fee according to the law.

Recalculation of the fee will be monitored by the concerned regulatory authority.

Only approved fee by the regulatory authority will be charged from parents.

Extra fee, which was charged previously will also be adjusted in the current fee.

Court directed the authority to create a complaint cell to cater further issues.

Fee will remain same as it was in 2017, court stated.
