All game aficionados know Tekken is a famous fighting game series. The last mainline game in the series, Tekken 7, came out in 2015. The good news is that it is still played often and is always on the schedule for the Evolution Championship Series, or EVO, which is the biggest fighting game tournament of the year.

Tekken 8 is also expected to be a huge hit when it comes out, but there is still no information about when it will come out. We recently learned that Tekken 8 will bring back a fan-favorite character after almost 27 years.

At the Game Awards 2022, a trailer for Tekken 8 was shown. It also gave fans a chance to see some of their favourite characters in action.

Fans were mostly excited about the return of a character who hadn’t been in Tekken since Tekken 2 in 1995. Who is it? It is Jun Kazama.

Jun is Jin Kazama’s mother, and it seems she will play a big role in the future title’s tale, which will focus on Jin and his father Kazuya Mishima.

Let me tell you that at the end of the trailer, we see Jin pushing Kazuya down onto a building while he says in a voiceover, “Mother, I still can’t protect anybody.”

After that, we see a shot of Jun Kazama putting his hand on his heart in an unknown ethereal place and saying, “We will cleanse this world of its evil and corruption.”

Don’t know Jun? Then I’ll tell you that she was a person who worked to protect wildlife and that she entered the second King of Iron Fist Tournament to meet Kazuya Mishima.

She wanted to stop him from bringing protected animals into the country illegally and free him from whatever evil force was controlling him.

Then she got pregnant with Kazuya’s baby, who would grow up to be Jin. Now, this character will come back in the next Tekken game. Let’s see what happens in the story.
