No practical exams to be held in 2021, Punjab board announced

A statement has been issued by the Punjab education boards on Friday which stated that the students of intermediate and matric classes will not have to give practical exams next year.

The decision was taken in Lahore during a meeting of the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC). According to the details, chairmen of all the nine boards in the province participated and review the proposal after the closure of educational institutions due to the second wave of coronavirus in the country.

The statement said that due to the ongoing health crisis in the country, the practical exams will not be held for the academic year 2021.

The decision was taken after all the educational institutions were decided to close from November 26 till January 10 due to a rise in coronavirus cases.
