The 27th anniversary of the Pakistani film industry’s legendary actress, Nayyar Sultana is being celebrated.

Nayyar Sultana, who ruled the film industry for decades, was born in 1935 in Aligarh, India.
After partition she moved to Karachi and then to Lahore where she met director Anwar Kamal.
In 1955, she became the part of film, Qatil.

Nayyar Sultana focused more on acting than dance.
The pair of couple of Sultana and Durpan remained super hit in the film world as well as in marital life.
Durpin and Nair Sultana were honored to be the most beautiful couple of cinema screens.
She proved herself through films like Baji, Suhaili and Ghoongat.
On October 27, 1992 she died of cancer.
