American pop star and actor Justin Timberlake apologized to his wife Jessica Biel in public for holding hands with his co-star.

Justin Timberlake was noticed holding hands at New Orleans bar with the co-star of his upcoming movie Alisha Wainwright. The photos and videos of Justin and Alisha got viral on media.

However, he publically apologized to his wife actress Jessica Biel by writing on Instagram. He wrote, “Stay away from gossip as much as I can, but for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumors that are hurting people I love.”

He also wrote about his photos and videos, “Displayed a strong lapse in judgment-but let me be clear-nothing happened between me and my co-star.”

“Drank too much that night and I regret my behavior. I should have known better. This is not the example I want to set for my son.” He added.

He also said that he is sorry to his “amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”

Note that he is working with Alisha Wainwright in the movie “Palmer” in New Orleans.

Justin Timberlake got hitched with Jessica Biel in 2012 and they have a 4-year-old son Silas.
