Renowned Pakistani author and host Anwar Maqsood answered 10 questions asked by fans.

Singer Bilal Maqsood, son of Anwar Maqsood, shared a video on his Instagram account in which he asked questions which fans asked from his father.

In the video, Bilal Maqsood said that the most frequently asked question was what advice would Anwar Maqsood want to give to the younger generation?

On this, Anwar Maqsood said, “I will just say that it is good to have money and make money, but you should never run after it. Think of what you have and think that it is enough.” Because desires increase throughout life.

Meanwhile, Bilal Maqsood asked him when the Pakistani nation will wake up? So on this he said in a humorous and critical manner that “the day these morning shows are closed, the nation will wake up”.

Bilal Maqsood asked him what was the most difficult period of his life, to which Anwar Maqsood said that the most difficult period was when he was baking but that difficult period showed him two ways to walk. They arrived here today.

Bilal Maqsood also asked his father about the Pakistani people’s obsession with liking Turkish dramas.

To which Anwar Maqsood said that “they are Turkey, we are lascivious, that is why we are behind”.

However, there was a moment in the video when Bilal Maqsood asked Anwar Maqsood about Moin Akhtar.

Bilal Maqsood told his father that many people asked him about Moin Akhtar, “Do you remember him?”

On this Anwar Maqsood while reciting a poem said that the memory of Moin Akhtar has not left him till today, he kept writing for Moin Akhtar for 32 years.

According to Anwar Maqsood, “The great people go away from sight, but they remain in hearts. Moin Akhtar is in everyone’s heart in every house.”

Note that Anwar Maqsood and Moin Akhtar worked together for years in the memorable show ‘Loose Talk’.

while remembering Moen Akhter,  Anwar Maqsood said, “Often when I write a program like Loose Talk, after writing my name, I write Moin’s name in the next line (but) then I have to cut it and write someone else’s name.”

Note that nine years ago, on April 22, 2011, popular artist Moin Akhtar, who spoke salty, crisp and eloquent sentences, passed away due to heart failure.
