Disney to release a film showing Eid celebrations of a Pakistani family in US

The Walt Disney Company, commonly known as Disney has announced something exciting for its viewers specially Muslims in the United States (US).

Disney plans to release a short movie featuring a Pakistani family that has shifted to US.

The story of the movie will revolve around a young 9 year-old girl who will shift to US with her family from Pakistan.

After the migration, the little girl Ameena realizes the her favourite festive ‘Eid’ will not be celebrated the same way as in Pakistan as she has to leave for school on Eid too.

She then struggles to make Eid a public holiday as it is a very important, yet holy festival for Ameena and her family.

After she has circulated appeals, little Ameena loses hope that she might never have the Eid celebrations again.

On the day of Eid, she felt really delighted as her parents and teachers collaborated a Eid gathering with lots of celebrations in the classroom.

No further reports regarding the film has been released yet. But, rumours say that Disney is looking for Pakistani artists to act in the film as main leads.
