Singer Justin Bieber shared his views on black culture and its influence on his music career. He took to Instagram to say that he will use his privilege as a white celebrity to take part in the anti-racism campaign.

He said, “I am inspired by black culture. I have benefited from black culture,” Bieber wrote on Saturday (June 6). “My style, how I sing, dance, perform, and my fashion has all been influenced and inspired by black culture.”

“I am committed to using my platform from this day forward to learn, to speak up about racial injustice and systemic oppression, and to identify ways to be a part of much-needed change,”

‘Baby’ singer Justin Bieber had earlier supported black culture as well. He said on 28th May, “No lives matter until black lives matter,”

He wrote on Instagram the next day, “Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice,”

He shared a graphic as he reacted to George Floyd’s killing, “They’d rather let the nation burn than arrest 3 of their own…let that sink in.”
