On Monday, Universal Studios said that it will restart its movie production in early July with Jurassic World: Dominion, as Hollywood will emerge from a three-month coronavirus shutdown.

Universal said it plans to get shooting underway on July 6 at Pinewood Studios in England under strict guidelines for the cast and crew to control the coronavirus outbreak.

After filming James Cameron’s Avatar sequel for 20th Century Studios resumed in New Zealand on Monday, it will be one of the major films to restart work. Producer Jon Landau and the cast and crew ended in quarantine two weeks after returning to the country, saying it is now free of the virus.

Work on “Jurassic World: Dominion,” starring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, came to an abrupt halt in mid-March due to the coronavirus pandemic, which shut down movies and television productions around the world.
