According to details, Lahore Arts Council has approved renowned actress Meera Jee’s request for providing financial aid to the actress.

The Baaji actress will get Rs5,00 from the Arts Council. As per details, Meera Jee received the notification of approval of her request through SMS.

The sourced revealed that the actress can collect the money from any branch of Punjab Bank.

It is pertinent to mention here that earlier this month, the veteran actress had requested Punjab government to provide her financial assistance with the Artist Support Fund introduced by the Punjab Information and Cultural Department. She had requested for Rs 40 million as she claimed to be in financial crisis.

However, the Punjab Government had denied her request.
