Famous singer and songwriter Bilal Maqsood has raised concern over the monetization of Surahs and Duas on YouTube.

Taking to his Instagram account, the Mera Bichra Yaar singer called the advertisements that came in between while listening to Surahs annoying. According to Maqsood, this is a disrespect of Islamic Surahs and Duas to be monetized.

He penned down,

“Imagine listening to Surah-e-Rehman and it is interrupted in the middle by a lawn or a cooking oil ad, it’s highly disrespectful.”

Earlier, the Strings member was tested positive for coronavirus, but fortunately, has recovered from the deadly virus and now is living a healthy and happy life.
