The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, played by none other than Will Smith in the 90s, is coming back in a reboot.

However, reports say that the new version will not be a comedy sitcom. Instead, it will be a drama.

The reboot will be composed of a viral YouTube trailer re imagined the series as a hard-hitting drama.

Smith is working on the series with Morgan Cooper, who launched the trailer last year. At that time, Smith had appreciated the trailer as a “brilliant idea, the dramatic version of The Fresh Prince for the next generation”.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the new version will be streamed on platforms including Netflix, HBO Max, and Peacock. Smith’s company Westbrook Studios will make it with Universal TV.

The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was a sitcom that was released in 1990. Fictional Will’s mom sends him away his rough

Philadelphia neighborhood to live with wealthy Uncle Phil and Aunt Vivian in Bel-Air. Will often has fun at the expense of stuck-up cousins Carlton and Hilary.

On the other hand,  Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith took matters into their own hands and terminated any and all speculation about a possible $270million divorce during their appearance on the Red Table Talk show.

Renowned gossip debunker, the Gossip Cop dived into all the rumors about the $270 million divorce and set a clear record of the couple’s supposed blame game over the past few weeks.
