Malala Yousafzai to feature in UN’s film on global issues

Pakistani activist and the youngest Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai will be working with singer Beyonce and other international celebrities in the United Nations’ (UN) film on global issues.

The United Nations said in a statement that,

“The film will take audiences on a dynamic exploration of the times we live in, the multiple tipping points our planet faces, and the interventions that could transform our world over the next 10 years.”

According to the details, the film will be of 30 mins and entitled as “Nations United: Urgent Solutions for Urgent Times”. The movie will be premiere on the UN’s YouTube channel on 19th September.

The movie will feature Beyonce, Malala Yousafzai, Don Cheadle, Michelle Yeoh, and Forest Whitaker.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres and Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed will also appear in the film.

UN said Julia Roberts will host a radio broadcast and podcast version of the movie.
