Veteran Pakistani actress Nadia Jamil, who recently won the battle against cancer expressed her disappointment with the Pakistani drama’s content.

The actress had criticized the drama directors for not showing the actual struggles faced by women. She wanted the Pakistani dramas to highlight the actual issues as they just revolve around the women’s marriage issues.

Taking to her Twitter account Nadia wrote,

“Turn on the TV nowadays & so many plays have women being slapped, beaten, emotionally abused & crying, pining pathetically 4 the narcissistic, sociopath who did it. Show women self-respect & men kindness TV dramas, they also exist you know. It’s not violent men being idolized.”

It should be mentioned here  Nadia Jamil who had been battling cancer had earlier discharged from the hospital and returned to her home. Nadia was active on her Instagram and kept her fans updated with her health conditions.
