A renowned British naturalist Sir David Attenborough has met with Royals at a private viewing of his new documentary at Kensington Palace. He brought an expensive gift for Prince George.

Sir David gave a fossilized giant tooth of an extinct shark to Prince George during the visit.

Prince George seemed delighted as he saw the tooth of a carcharocles megalodon, a shark that was once a sea predator.

Prince William and Sir David both work on environmental issues.

Both watched A Life On Our Planet, in which Sir David reflects on the defining moments of his life’s work and the devastating changes he has witnessed. The event was held in the palace grounds to observe social distancing.

Kensington royal shared the news on Instagram. The caption read, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to share new photographs of their family with David Attenborough,”

“The photographs were taken earlier this week in the gardens of Kensington Palace after The Duke and Sir David attended an outdoor screening of Sir David’s upcoming feature film. ‘David Attenborough: A Life On Our Planet’.”

“With a shared passion for protecting the natural world, they continue to support one another in their missions to tackle some of the biggest environmental challenges our planet faces.”
