A federal judge has handed a 30-month prison sentence to the man who had been stalking and threatening American singer Taylor Swift.

Her stalker was identified as Eric Swarbrick from Austin, Texas. According to the details, Swarbrick was stalking and sending threatening emails to Taylor’s former record label.

During a hearing in Nashville, the stalker was given a 30-month prison sentence on Wednesday.

The prosecutors had agreed upon in plea bargain that Swarbrick would get a three-year supervised release as he entered back in 2019, as the sentence’s terms and conditions.

It should be mentioned here that the stalker had sent over 40 letters along with emails to Big Machine Label Group in 2019, in which he had requested its CEO to let him meet Taylor Swift. As time passed, the tone of his letters grew violent and threatening.
