Renowned American actor Dwayne Johnson has the biggest social media following in America.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has become the most followed man in terms of American men.

The news was announced by the Jumanji actor on his social media as he embraced the crown of having over 200 million followers on Instagram.

Sharing the news, Johnson wrote: “Officially the most followed man in America. I spoke my truth with a little poise, dignity & respect and here’s the result.”

“Tidal wave of quiet support surging past 200 MILLION followers on IG. 300M+ total across all platforms. #1 Most followed man in America. (and #1 daddy at home;) Love you guys and thank you! Let’s keep building and putting in the hard work,” he added.

Currently, the most followed accounts are of famed football champion Cristiano Ronaldo with 238 million and  Ariana Grande, the most followed female celebrity with 203 million followers.

Earlier, had been named the world’s highest-paid male actor for the second time in a row, according to a released by Forbes magazine.

Dwayne Johnson, also known by his ring name ‘The Rock’, had earned $87.5 million from June 1, 2019, to June 1, 2020, Forbes said.

The actor also included $23.5 million from Netflix starring in a thriller movie Red Notice. He also benefited from his ‘Project Rock’ fitness wear line for Under Armour Inc.
