Following Diriliş‘ record-breaking success in Pakistas, another Turkish hit is making its way to the state-run PTV.

As per the recommendation of Prime Minister Imran Khan, Senator of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Faisal Javed Khan made an announcement that the Turkish series named Yunus Emre: Aşkin Yolculuğu will be made available for the audience to watch via the small screen.

For the Pakistani viewers, the film is renamed Raah-e-Ishq. The series will be portraying the life of an Islamic poet.

Faisal Javed Khan took to Twitter to announce the news and wrote, “On the directions of PM ImranKhan, yet another hit by @mmehmetbozdag YunusEmre (AşkinYolculuğu) to be telecast on PTV. Yunus Emre (the Dervish) was an Islamic poet, a mystic & a poor villager.”

He further added, “Story of a great Sufi wholly dedicated to ALLAH & searching or unity. It is a Journey of Transformation. Yunus Emre was well versed in mystical philosophy, esp that of the 13th-century poet and mystic Jalaluddin Rumi. Serial is a great example of meticulous attention to detail work.”
