Veteran showbiz actor Behroze Sabzwari is hospitalized after testing positive for the novel Coronavirus.

Behroze Sabzwari tested positive six days ago, according to his son Shahroz Sabzwari. “His test came positive some six days ago and he is in the hospital since,” he said.

The Nand actor went on to reassure that his father is doing just fine, irrespective of contracting the virus.

“He is not in the Covid ward because he is fine, but since he is above 60 he needs to be kept under observation,” explained the actor.

However, Shahroz has urged his fans and social media users to pray for his father’s speedy recovery.

Shahroz also relayed that his family is quarantining, but since he is the only child, he has to go back and forth from his home to the hospital.

“I can’t sit idle because I am the only child. We’re all glad he is out danger now. But the initial days were tough, and we were all really worried. Now it’s all better and we hope it stays that way,” he concluded.

Moreover, other Pakistani celebrities who had also tested positive for COVID-19 include Nida Yasir, Danish Nawaz, Rubina Ashraf, Jawad Ahmed and Vasay Chaudhry.

On the other hand, the total count of active cases in Pakistan increased up to 51,654 with death toll spiked up to 8,205.
