Famed US Rapper Kanye West, who took part in the US Presdential elections 2020, is nearing 31 million followers on Twitter.

Kanye West follows only 240 people on the microblogging website and has posted only 1915 tweets.

Earlier this year, he had landed into many controversies after his decision to contest US presidential election against President Donald Trump.

In the beginning, he was supported by his family and Elon Musk but as the election neared it became evident he stood no chance against Trump and other candidates.

Jennifer Aniston had also received backlash for opposing Kanye in an Instagram post.

At one point in 2020, the American rapper’s relationship with his wife Kim Kardashian seemed to deteriorate as they isolated together amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The couple had shut down divorce buzz as Kanye West had sent sweet birthday wish for wife Kim Kardashian along with an adorable snap.

He took to Twitter and had uploaded a romantic picture kissing Kim passionately at the centre of an empty stadium.

The US rapper captioned: “Been doing empty stadiums. Happy 40th birthday!!! I love you so much.”

The photo was taken at the couple’s engagement at San Francisco’s AT&T Park in 2013.
