During the coronavirus pandemic, the Academy Awards (Oscars) have decided to hold the ceremony in person next year.

As many of the big award shows had moved to a virtual platform owing to the increase of coronavirus cases, however, the biggest night in Hollywood will be held with a live audience in person.

A reporter of an international media outlet and the Academy said,

“The Oscars in-person telecast will happen.”

Earlier, the Oscars were postponed for two months in the hopes of the Academy being able to watch more films to qualify during the extended time.

The sources revealed that the awards will not be postponed further and would still be held at Los Angeles’s Dolby Theatre, according to plan.

“The academy has done a walkthrough of the Dolby recently to see all the multiple options,” it was further revealed by the source.
