Recently, the K-pop singer V from BTS has revealed all the secrets behind his songwriting process. V told in an interview that he has the melody down before the lyrics come to mind. He said,

“I try to write the lyrics for every note or until that part ends.”

He went on to say,

“I write 8 bars of melody, then write lyrics for those 8 bars before I move on. Or I write all the melody before I write the lyrics.”

Before concluding V claimed,

“If I write the lyrics first, the melody changes a lot according to the lyrics. So, sometimes I can’t write the melody I want. It’s pretty frustrating. So, I write the melody first.”

Earlier, BTS star Kim Taehyung aka V celebrated his birthday on 30th October. He has become the first Korean star to have a birthday ad on Dubai’s Burj Khalifa.

V’s Fanclub in China organized the birthday ad with a three-minute sound and light show. V’s original track ‘Winter Bear’ was also played at the moment. A dancing light show was also shown customized to the self-composed song.

He became the second celebrity in the world to have the ad after Bollywood King Khan Shah Rukh Khan.
