Former model Iffat Omar was one of the witnesses in Meesha Shafi’s sexual harassment case against singer Ali Zafar. Now, the case has taken a new turn, Omar has demanded protection from Ali Zafar’s fans.

On the last hearing, Iffat told Lahore’s court that Zafar’s fans threatened her and pressurized her to take back the statement against the pop star. To which the court replied, if such an incident took place in the court’s premises, then the court would look into it.

“And if it has taken place outside the courtroom, then submit an application to the session court for the registration of an FIR,” the judge said.

Earlier, senior actor Iffar Omar was cross-examined by the counsel for singer Ali Zafar in wake of the defamation case.

‘Say it all’ host Iffat Omar responded to the questions of Advocate Umar Gill. She said that her first project with Shafi’s mother Saba Hameed was a PTV drama serial Nangay Paoon in 1993.
