Kim Kardashian West has opened up about how she felt when she was body-shamed during her first pregnancy.

Kim Kardashian revealed that she was embarrassed as she was bullied for gaining 60 pounds.

Taking to Instagram stories, the American star shared her thoughts. She also shared some memes made on her body. She revealed that she was compared to a killer in 2013. She also shared a poster in which she was compared to a whale.

“I cried every single day over what was happening to my body, mainly from the pressures of being constantly compared to what society considered a healthy person should look like — as well as being compared to Shamu the Whale by the media,” the businesswoman wrote.

The ‘keeping up with Kardashian’ actress further wrote, “I was shamed on a weekly basis with cover stories that made my insecurities so painful I couldn’t leave the house for months after. It really broke me.”

Apart from that, the social media celebrity said that she recalled her memories while watching a recent documentary about American singer Britney Spears. Kim wrote that the media “can be very traumatizing and it can really break even the strongest person.

“No-one deserves to be treated with such cruelty or judgment for entertainment.”
