British singer Zayn Malik sharply criticized the nominations for the world’s most popular awards, The Grammy Awards.

The singer recently slammed the Grammy Awards nominations on his Twitter account, saying sarcastically, “F*** the grammys and everyone associated. Unless you shake hands and send gifts, there’s no nomination considerations. Next year I’ll send you a basket of confectionary.”

After highly criticizing the Grammy Awards, Zayn Malik posted another tweet to explain himself, in which he said, “My tweet was not personal or about eligibility but was about the need for inclusion and the lack of transparency of the nomination process and the space that creates and allows favoritism, racism, and networking politics to influence the voting process

The British singer had recently released latest album, out of which only the song sung with Taylor Swift was nominated.

Zayn Malik’s album ‘Nobody is Listening’ was not nominated for the Grammy Awards because it was released five months after the nomination process ended and two months after the awards were announced.
