Asif Mehdi, son of world famous singer Mehdi Hassan, is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Asif Mehdi’s family reported that he goes to the hospital for dialysis on a regular basis, but is now admitted to the hospital’s special care unit when his pneumonia worsened.

The family says that Asif Mehdi got tested for Covid-19, the report of which was negative, therefore his condition is out of danger.

The family further said that Asif Mehdi has been admitted to the hospital since the past two days. The family has appealed to people to pray for his speedy recovery.
