The world-famous Colombian star Shakira influences millions of fans to dance to her music, but she forbade her children from listening to it at home or at all.

Shakira’s children Milan and Sasha are not allowed to listen to their mother’s music at home. The renowned singer said she does not allow her children to play her music at home and avoids listening to it in front of them.

“I try to give them as much normalcy as I can,” said the pop singer. “I can’t deny they can’t escape the reality that I’m a public person, as well as their dad. But we try to provide as much normalcy as we can, and live really as very simple people,” added the artist.

Her husband, Gerard Piqué, is a famous Spanish footballer, and the pair have been in a relationship since 2011.

The pop icon recently released her new music video ‘Don’t Wait Up’ which has been eagerly awaited by her fans.
