Rapper DaBaby took down an Instagram post in which he apologized for his inflammatory remarks on the LGBTQ community.

Users on social media noted that DaBaby’s statement requesting an apology for his statements was no longer on his page.

The Levitating rapper apologized for his comments regarding HIV/AIDS, saying they were “hurtful and triggering” and that he was “misinformed.”

He also slammed anyone who questioned him before he had a chance to “grow, educate, and learn” from his comments, stating that they were “publicly working against” him.

During his performance at Rolling Loud, DaBaby was chastised for making harsh remarks towards queer people.

“If you didn’t show up today with HIV/AIDS, any of them deadly sexually transmitted diseases that’ll make you die in two to three weeks, put your cellphone light up. … Fellas, if you ain’t [expletive] in the parking lot, put your cellphone lights in the air,” he said at the event.

Previously, The pop artist, Dua Lipa who collaborated with DaBaby on the immensely famous remix of her song “Levitating,” took to her Instagram account to protest DaBaby’s remarks made during his Rolling Loud performance on Sunday night.

Dua Lipa made it clear in a series of Instagram Stories that she does not support the rapper’s comments made during his performance at Rolling Loud in Miami on Sunday.

“I’m surprised and horrified at DaBaby’s comments. I really don’t recognize this as the person I worked with,” Lipa wrote, who collaborated with the DaBaby in her hit song Levitating.
