Singer Atif Aslam to make his TV debut in upcoming drama Serial

Atif Aslam, a popular Pakistani singer, and film star will now make his television debut in Saife Hasan’s Sang-e-Mah.

Sang-e-Mah is the follow-up to Kubra Khan’s 2016 film Sang-e-Mar Mar, which stars Sania Saeed, Ijaz, and Mikaal Zulfiqar.

The actor said he was in Islamabad shooting for Sang-e-Mah in a video shared by Naumaan Ijaz, “You all loved Sang-e-Mar Mar and I’m sure you’ll love Sang-e-Mah too,” he said.

The actor then went on to say that he was shooting with Atif Aslam, Zaviyar, Sania Saeed, Samiya Mumtaz, Kubra Khan, and Hania Aamir, among others.

“Take care, live long, God bless all Pakistanis and God bless everyone,” he said.

Atif Aslam has been tight-lipped about his plans to pursue a career in television acting. He revealed he was waiting for the ideal script in a recent interview with BBC’s Haroon Rashid. He recently stated, “People might watch me presenting dialogues on TV.”

However, he had brushed aside rumors about his TV debut. “I too have heard rumours [about my acting debut] but I don’t know,” he had laughed.

In 2011, Atif Aslam starred opposite Mahira Khan, Humaima Malik, and Iman Aly in the film Bol.
