Farah Khan and her longstanding creative collaborator, superstar Shah Rukh Khan, have posted a new video in which they recreate a musical sequence from the film Main Hoon Na.

Main Hoon Na, directed by Farah and featuring Shah Rukh in the lead role, was a critical and economic triumph when it was released in 2004.

Sharing the video on Instagram, Farah Khan wrote in her caption, “With my Most favourite.. one & only @iamsrk there’s No1 like you.. #mainhoonna #farahkefundays.”

Shah Rukh gives an interpretive rendition to the song in the video, complete with improvisations like tapping on an imaginary clock and recoiling in mock horror as Farah approaches his face.

Several people were hit with a wave of nostalgia. Ranveer Singh commented, “Ohhhhhhhhhhhh heart melt!!!” Riteish Deshmukh called the song an ‘all time favourite’, and Sania Mirza’s sister Anam dropped a series of crying face and heart emojis.

Farah made her directorial debut with Main Hoon Na, and then reconnected with Shah Rukh for Om Shanti Om, Deepika Padukone’s playing debut.
