Camila Cabello opened up about her feelings before her first date with Shawn Mendes.

The Havana singer admitted to being so frightened that she had to drink shots to relax.

Cabello admitted to James Corden on The Late Late Show,  “I swear to God before Shawn and I’s first date, I was so nervous, I took two tequila shots.”

The Sangria Wine singer also told how she used to sing Defying Gravity, a song by Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth from the Broadway show Wicked, in the shower to boost her courage.

Despite the fact that Shawn and Camila were friends before they started dating, the singer expressed her excitement to take things to the next level.

Camila remembered, “So he’s about to come over and I’m so nervous I just can’t take it. My dad is there, and I’m like, ‘Pour me two tequila shots, just like do it.”
