Rose McGowan, an American actor, and activist has accused Oprah Winfrey, a media executive and television celebrity, of lying about her support for the #MeToo movement.

The 47-year-old Charmed star slammed the 67-year-old talk show presenter, calling her “as fake as they come.”

“I’m delighted more people are witnessing @Oprah’s terrible truth. McGowan, a major #MeToo and Time’s Up activist, added, “I wish she was real, but she isn’t.”

“She is as false as they come, from being friends with Weinstein to leaving and trashing Russell Simmon’s [sic] victims, she is about maintaining a corrupt power structure for personal benefit. McGowan added, “#lizard.”

Russell Simmons, a music mogul, has been accused of rape and sexual assault by 20 women.
