Shoaib Akhtar, a former Pakistani speedster and Nauman Niaz, a host, engaged in a tense and aggressive banter. After which legendary pacer Shoaib Akhtar walks off the show. Many of Pakistan’s leading celebrities like Muneeb Butt, Ali Zafar, and Adnan Siddiqui took their social media handles to defend Shoaib Akhter.

Later on, Ahmed Ali Butt also speaks out in support of Shoaib Akhtar after the news of the cricketer leaving a live show further spread. While taking to his Instagram story, Ahmed Ali wrote, “Being an anchor and host myself. I understand completely what the job is. A host is the captain of the ship and it’s his responsibility to do damage control. These People are your guests so no matter what the excuse is, you can never insult them, specifically when they are world-class players who the entire world respects.”

He further wrote,”#NAUMANNIAZ Sir this matter could have been resolved off-air during the break but your ego took the best of you. Shoaib Akhtar had valid points and remained calm and composed throughout. You definitely owe him an apology on air. Hope this will be humbling experience for you. Respect your heroes. #PTV #SHOAIBAKHTAR #CRICKET”
