The latest addition to Disney’s upcoming film “Haunted Mansion” is Danny DeVito.

The Haunted Mansion is based on the same-named Disney World attraction. Despite the fact that storyline information for the film is being kept under wraps, the official ride description reads:

“Glide past a casket-filled conservatory, Madame Leota’s chilling seance room, and a ghost graveyard of singing spectres as you attempt to find your way out. Beware of hitchhikers these phantom pranksters may follow you home.”

Pirates of the Caribbean and Jungle Cruise are two other Disney films with theme park namesakes. A Disney World ride is also the inspiration for the upcoming Tower of Terror film.

The film is directed by Justin Simien and is now in production in New Orleans and Atlanta. DeVito joins a group that includes Owen Wilson, LaKeith Stanfield, Tiffany Haddish, and Rosario Dawson, among others.

DeVito is best recognized for his role as Sunny in Philadelphia on FX’s It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. He just confirmed that he will star in Triplets, a sequel to their 1988 film Twins, opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger. He’ll also star alongside Morgan Freeman, Al Pacino, and Helen Mirren in the new thriller Sniff.
