Jonathan Goodwin, a contestant on Britain’s Got Talent, was left with horrific injuries after his trick went horribly wrong.

Goodwin was rushed to a trauma center after a dangerous performance went awry on stage, leaving him in critical condition and on the verge of death.

During a stint on America’s Got Talent: Extreme, the 41-year-old was dangled upside-down 70 feet in the air from a wire while wearing a straitjacket.

The trick went wrong, leaving the performer ‘sandwiched’ between the two automobiles as they collided, bursting into flames as he fell to the ground and hit his head.

After the crash, the production personnel feared the professional daredevil and escapologist was dead because he was unconscious.
