The Pakistani spiritual-romance series Khuda Aur Mohabbat is well-known. The drama depicts a man’s journey from “Virtual Love” to “Real Love.” In the play, the legendary actor Feroz Khan sits at the shrine to deal with the dilemma of a one-sided love failure.

A man named Azeemullah Qureshi visits the shrine of Hazrat Shah Shams Tabriz every Friday after witnessing the drama and being inspired by Khan’s performance.

Qureshi is a matric student who works in a cosmetics store. In the drama, Farhad (Feroz’s character) meets Mahi (Iqra Aziz) while reciting Tasbeeh and praying to God to bring him together with the love of his life.

Speaking about his love interest, Azeemullah said, “We used to go to school together, but she betrayed me and got married. Now, I will leave this shrine only when I get to meet her.”
