Will Smith has been working hard in the gym, and his efforts are paying off. On Sunday, the 53-year-old actor shared a montage of his strenuous workouts on social media, updating his fitness and health journey.

‘The Bad Boys for Life’ star appears strong and fit as he lifts weights, pulls ups, and sprints in the video.

“And to think Sundays used to be for muffins #bestshapeofmylife,” he captioned the photo. In the comments section, fans of the actor praised his growth.

“I knew he was gon lose that weight,” one person wrote. Another user added, “KING WILL.” One commenter even used Smith’s motivating phrase from his film The Pursuit of Happiness: “Don’t ever let someone tell you, you can’t do something. Not even me. You got a dream, you got to protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you you can’t do it. You want something, go get it. Period.”

Meanwhile, Smith has been putting in a lot of effort to lose the weight he gained during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been uploading photographs and videos of his hard activities on social media for several months. The actor has kept the tone light by frequently posting entertaining videos about his struggles to regain strength and fitness. Smith admitted to being in “the worst shape of my life” in May and promised to work on his health.

“This is the body that carried me through an entire pandemic and countless days grazing thru the pantry,” he wrote with a shirtless selfie of himself. “I adore my body, but I want to FEEL better,” he wrote at the time. Smith also announced on May 4 that he will be documenting his transformation with YouTube for a new original series that would launch next year and follow him on his health and fitness quest.
