Pakistani singer and songwriter, Ali Zafar has shared a picture of Mohammad Rizwan and praised him and his performance throughout all matches.

Pakistan may have been eliminated from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 after losing by 5 wickets in the semi-final against Australia, but their path to the elimination round was seemingly perfect.

While everyone is praising the boys for their bravery, Mohammad Rizwan has tried to capture the show with his brilliant effort despite being sick.

As Pakistan set a tough 177-run goal for Australia, the wicketkeeper-batsman struck a 52-ball 67 with four sixes and three boundaries. Rizwan’s dedication was appreciated by all, even though his hit was overshadowed by Matthew Wade’s heroics.

Rizwan got sick with the flu before the semi-final match and spent two nights in a Dubai hospital, where he was hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

He suffered a severe chest infection, according to reports, and was treated with exceptional care. Shoaib Akhtar, a former pace legend, came to Twitter to share a snapshot of the 29-year-old while he was in the hospital.

Calling him a “Hero”, he wrote: “Can you imagine this guy played for his country today [and] gave his best.

“He was in the hospital last two days. Massive respect @iMRizwanPak. Hero.”

Taking to his Twitter handle the singer shared Rizwan’s picture in the hospital bed and praises him while he wrote, “What heroes are made of. #Rizwan”
