Sports show ‘Game On Hai’ saw some unwanted drama when cricketer Shaoib Akhtar and host Dr. Nauman Niaz got into an argument after which Dr Niaz asked Shoaib Akhtar to leave and the cricketer resigned on live television. The spat received quite the backlash and both Dr. Niaz and Akhtar were taken off-air after an investigation was launched by the channel.

Dr. Nauman Niaz recently sat down with Rauf Klasra and when asked about the spat, admitted that he had made a mistake. He further went on to say, “I had no right. To err is human and for that, I apologize. Not only once, but a million times. Shoaib has been a rock star. Whatever happened on camera was unbecoming.”

Seeing Dr. Nauman Niaz regretting what he’d said, Shoaib Akhtar took to Twitter to share that he’s formally accepted Dr. Niaz’s apology, even though it took him some time to overcome the feelings that were hurt.

With the spat that went viral on social media, it’s good to see the two finally making amends and trying to move on.
