The Netflix horror-thriller “Hellbound” from South Korea has become an overnight global sensation.

The dark fantasy-based horror and terrifying series “Hellbound” topped “Squid Game” with its fantastical effects as the most-watched TV show on the streaming platform. With its outstanding writing, concepts, and production, the South Korean entertainment business is increasingly dominating showbiz in many genres.

Hellbound became the most-watched Netflix television series in the world on November 20th, topping streaming ratings in more than 80 countries within 24 hours of its premiere, according to FlixPatrol analytics.

The huge, hairy creatures incinerate their victims and hurl them to damnation, causing popular outrage and religious fanaticism.

Hellbound is directed by Yeon Sang-ho and aired in September at the Toronto International Film Festival 2021.

In October, an estimated 142 million homes in 94 countries watched the series, which is infamous for its extreme brutality and gore. Netflix has profited an estimated $900 million from it.
