The sources have stated that Zayn Malik’s marijuana intake has a lot to do with his behavioral change as he faces public attention over his newest issue. An informant told a newspaper that the former One Direction bandmate’s pot addiction has made him “aggressive” and “paranoid.”

“Zayn has the impression that life is conspiring against him. He actually struggles to cope with his celebrity, and it comes across as ungrateful and arrogant,” a music executive who has dealt with him told.

“I think people would warm to him if he was a little more honest about talking about his troubles,” they said.

“Zayn wasn’t happy in the band, it wasn’t for him,” a second insider who worked with One Direction stated. “He despised being forced to tour all the time and being assigned a timetable.”

“He was just so difficult to work with that he wouldn’t show up for photoshoots or even gigs.” He’d isolate himself in the house and smoke a lot of cannabis, which made him quite unreliable,” they continued.
