For the first time, portraits of the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton shot to commemorate her 40th birthday, will be on display at locations near to Kate’s heart.
The duchess’s stunning portraits by renowned fashion photographer Paolo Roversi will be shown in four locations throughout the UK connected to Kate’s youth and connection with the Duke of Cambridge.
The Middleton family church, St Andrews University, where William and Kate first met, and Anglesey, where they resided as newlyweds, are among them.

The shows are part of the National Portrait Collection’s Coming Home programme, in which the gallery lends pictures of renowned individuals to communities where they have a strong connection.
The places were chosen with the help of Kate, who was said to have a particular connection to each one.
