Prince William and Kate Middleton are expected to “take greater control of events” in the future after returning from their incredible royal tour of the Caribbean on Sunday.

Royal analyst Christopher Wilson has called the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as “more media-savvy” than their aides.

The expert wrote on Twitter: “When the dust settles I think we’ll see William and Kate – more media-savvy than their advisers – take greater control of events.”

According to observers, the royal couple’s eight-day Caribbean visit has been tarnished by demonstrations and public relations gaffes. Kate Middleton and Prince William, on the other hand, have many happy memories as a couple from their vacation.

Referring to the speech delivered by the Duke of Cambridge during a reception in Jamaica on Wednesday, Wilson added: “With that slavery speech, delivered on Foreign Office advice, William stepped into a political minefield. That won’t happen again.”
