It’s been more than a decade since people all around the world tuned in to watch Prince William marry his university love Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011 in London’s Westminster Abbey.

Even still, it’s difficult to forget how beautiful the now-Duchess of Cambridge looked as she went down the aisle in her Alexander McQueen satin gown.

Around eight years after their romance began, Prince William gazed on with love in his eyes as he saw his wife make her way to the alter.

He was understandably worried, but as soon as he saw Kate and his father-in-law, Michael Middleton, enter the abbey, his uneasiness converted to a wide grin.

When she arrived at the alter, Prince William could be seen uttering a few words to his wife, before turning to her father and telling something with a huge grin on his face.

Professional lip reader Tina Lannin, who was born deaf, has since revealed what the Duke said to Duchess, as well as a cheeky joke made to his new in-law.
