According to report the Queen and Prince Philip were “disappointed” by the absence of Prince Harry and Meghan from very important royal family event, claimed by royal expert.

The extended Christmas break in Canada ahead the exit of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who had stepped as working royal in 2020 and then shifted to the US.

Royal expert and columnist Richard Kay told the 2022 channel 5 documentary ‘Harry and Meghan V/S the Monarchy’: where it was mentioned “Christmas is very, very important part in the Queen’s calendar. She like to draw her family around her.”

”Queen and Prince Philip were getting older and they were aware with the fact that they would not be on too many more Christmases and they must have been disappointed.”

Anjula Muntanda the relationship psychologist suggested that Sussexes may wanted to remove themselves from the situation found”difficult and painful”.

While speaking about couple’s six week break, Ms Muntanda stated: “What you do sometimes, psychologically for yourself, is you remove yourself from a situation that you find difficult and painful, and put yourself in a space that you might feel more nurturing and safe and secure.”
